License Renewal Requirements for North Carolina

There are two licenses required in North Carolina. An Alarm License and an Electrical License

  • The electrical license requires 8 hours of continuing education every two years.  Four (4) hours can be online and four (4) hours must be in classroom
  • The alarm license requires 6 hours of continuing education every two years.  Three (3) hours can be online and three (3) hours must be in classroom.
